Hello and Welcome. My name is Lisa Ferguson. June 2004 i was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. Not knowing anything about this type of cancer, it hit me hard. So considering there wasnt any type of awareness in My area, I am now working on making this website, so more women can be aware of Cervical Cancer.

It all started going for a normal Pap to get on Birth Control Pills, The results came back abnormal so they sent me to another doctor, there they done a Colposcopy and took several Biopsy's. They then sent them off to be tested and 2 weeks later i got the news. It was cancer. Even though my Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Mother all had Cervical and or Uterine Cancer, i still knew nothing about it until it happened to me, I then started getting online and finding what i could about it. I tought myself all about it, I joined one group, but soon left, i felt so out of place, i felt alone, like i had noone. Well following the Colposcopy they then performed LEEP(Loop electrosurgical excision procedure), then back to everything else, Totalling, 15 LEEPS done in a year and half.

I go back December 2nd, 2005 for more biopsy's..

I Plan on making this a very dedicated Website within time, It will just take me a while.

Some of the things to come will be a page with typical words you will hear during Pap testing you have if this happens to you, or just basically things I will talk about here.

I would love to start a Message Board or something to where people can message and get to know one another.

But for now, I will do the basic's and try to rest, i wear out easily latley. So until Next time

                     BE AWARE
